    2. Description of Service

Saarthi is an organizational tool designed to help families document and manage information about their assets and beneficiaries. The Service provides a digital platform for recording estate planning information for personal reference and family clarity.

    Important Legal Disclaimer:

Saarthi is NOT a legal service and does NOT create legally binding wills, trusts, or estate planning documents. The information you record in Saarthi is for organizational and informational purposes only. For legally valid estate planning documents, please consult with a qualified attorney licensed in your jurisdiction.

    3. User Accounts and Security

    Signature Disclaimer:

Digital signatures collected through Saarthi are NOT legally binding for the purpose of executing wills, trusts, or transferring property. They serve as acknowledgment of information sharing only. Legal transfer of assets requires proper legal documentation executed in accordance with applicable laws.

    5. Data Privacy and Security

We take the security of your information seriously:

    • All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest (AES-256)
    • Digital credentials (passwords, PINs, access notes) are additionally encrypted with a per-record key derived using HKDF-SHA256 before storage, so they are not readable in the database. The digital access vault is the intended place to record such secrets
    • Every asset and beneficiary carries a privacy tier that controls what each family member can see
